Time for the flags to be lowered

News from ASET, the Audlem Special Events Team – Ralph Warburton writes: "The time has come to remove the bunting and the flags from the village as all the events are now over for the summer. The task will begin this week and hopefully will be all done by Sunday. A sad time as the village always, to my mind, looks so empty after this – although there may well be some who will be happy to see them down."
