Thank You from crash victim

Following on from last Wednesday's crash, I spoke with the driver of the van involved in the Road Traffic Collision (RTC) on the A525.

He sustained a dislocated hip and tore the majority of muscles, ligaments and sustained other severe tissue damage to his trapped leg as a result. These turned out to be far worse than the concussion he was suffering from at the scene.

He is now in Royal Derby Hospital, as the air ambulance was unable to land at Stafford, and is unable to walk until the injuries heal.

He is most grateful for all of those who helped at the scene and cannot send enough thanks to those concerned.

The reason I want to give this update is to show that stopping to assist in any way you can is always met with genuine gratitude from those involved.

So from the driver to those people who stopped, the emergency services (and, to be fair, apart from the RNLI, I think they all attended) a big 'Thank You'.
