'The Story So Far' is to be performed at Audlem Methodist Church from Tuesday 19th to Saturday 23rd February 2013 at 7.30 pm. It tells the story of 150 years of the Methodist Church in Audlem told in music, songs and dancing.

The chapel in Shropshire Street has been open for 150 years on 5 March 2013. This year's
musical production is built around this fact, telling the story of the chapel and the village from 1863 to the present day in a light-hearted way, using songs, scenes, dances, music and film. As usual, the cast and chorus range from 7 to 77 but we all make up one company for the production week.

You'll meet pigeon fanciers, Sunday School rebels, an Egyptian refugee, a reluctant caretaker, the Ugly Sisters, a fawning photographer, a green and yellow army, a group of young mums and many more. We have, of course, for the sake of the drama, combined and adapted some of the incidents but it is still, in essence, a truthful account of a village chapel doing its best to care for all its people through interesting times. We are sure that you will be entertained.

Tickets are available, priced £6, from Julia Parton (telephone number: 01270 811761). Please come and support us. We look forward to seeing you.
