Yesterday's glorious weather, which will hopefully continue through this week, saw many signs that Spring really has arrived.
AudlemOnline Gardens saw a Small Tortoiseshell flitting around, not a rare sight as it will be one of last year's final brood coming out of hibernation.
A somewhat less usual butterfly at this time of year was also seem in the village as Chris Lewis reports: "When feeding the ducks this pm I saw a fresh looking Red admiral feeding on fully open pussy willow buds. Seems pretty early to me."
