There may still be a few tickets left for the NSPCC fund-raising lunch which is being held next Tuesday, 21st October, so please hurry and buy a ticket.
The event is being held in a marquee in the grounds of Stapeley House on London Road in Stapeley, Nantwich and starts at 12.30pm with reception drinks, followed by a two-course lunch. There will be a raffle on the day and a licensed bar will be provided.
Most of our regulars readers will already know that the after-lunch speaker is the editor of AudlemOnline so we won't fool you with idle promises of a great speech. All we can say is that it's meant to be risqué, witty, provocative, full of indiscretions and local gossip. Whether it is, only those there will be able to judge!
And even if the speech is of no interest, you will enjoy a splendid convivial lunch and be helping an excellent cause.
If you want to be there, tickets cost £21 per head and can be bought from Williams' newsagents in Audlem or from Rose Consterdine (tel 01270 811647).
