So much to enjoy at Festival

There are so many great music acts at this year's Audlem Music & Arts Festival, starting tomorrow and running for five days, that everyone will be able to find many favourites.

As usual, there are the three outdoor stages at Audlem's three pubs who have once again stepped forward to support the festival for the 17th time. In the evening, the music moves inside and becomes that bit more intimate.

Many bands are returning after many visits, a testimony to a festival that has been described as being just the right size. The audiences are friendly, knowledgeable and everyone, musicians and attendees, seems to have a wonderful time every year.

We never know with the English climate if it will hold but so far the forecasts indicate one of the warmest festivals for many a year. Fingers crossed.

As well as the music, that runs through Thursday and Friday evenings to full day programmes over the weekend and Bank Holiday Monday, there's poetry and art.

More news every day on AudlemOnline about what's happening. Readers will no doubt find it useful to keep in touch with what's on and where through the festival's presence on most of, if not all, of the usual social media channels.

The festival website can be found at audlemfestival.com, you can follow it on Facebook at facebook.com/audlemfestival and whilst you're at it they're also on Instagram @audlemfestival

Failing all of the above, the paper-based programme is available in and around the village from the usual places.
