Smart-ARS postponed

This morning's Smart-ARS walk has been postponed due to the forecast "patchy light rain" developing into a "steady downpour" – a typical soggy end, weather-wise, to the year.

With clues, paper and pens all required for this mystery tour, participants would have ended up holding a sponge-like set of answers and felt more like Stupid-ARS for venturing out this morning.

Fortunately, the clues are not on a Festive theme, and the event will be held at a later date, possibly in blazing January sunshine.

Update: A good number of walkers did turn up and an alternative Short-ARS walk was arranged at short notice at 10.00am. It was agreed that the special Smart-ARS walk with mystery tour clues and a trophy would now be run on the last Saturday of January.
