Short-ARS on Saturday

We are due for our last short-ARS walk before Xmas this Saturday, November 26th

The walk be a favourite local walk South of the village and round by Highfields.

We will meet at the Main Car Park and then walk South along the towpath past Cox Bank and eventually to Hawksmoor Bridge. Turn left here and then through the farmyard and the back of the Highfields Estate and finishing up across the fields to Wood Orchard Lane.

There is one possible deviation - at Hawksmoor Bridge, before we go left through the farm, we could turn right and do the half-mile into Adderley village. Then anyone interested could go and look at the proposed site of the wind turbine mast near the village. We can then retrace our steps and carry on past Highfields etc.  

The total distance is about five miles, or six if the diversion to Adderley is included. It is almost all flat, good paths, just a couple of potentially muddy bits.

So we meet on the Main Car park at 9.30am, aiming to be back in the village at lunch time.
