Christine Johnson will be leading the next Short ARS walk, on Saturday 28th July leaving Audlem Car Park at 9.30 am.
It is an easy 5 mile (possibly very slightly over) walk from Hassall Green along the old Salt Line and back along the Trent and Mersey Canal.
The walk is on good paths with a short amount of road, there is only one stile and the route is virtually flat.
Meet 9.30 at Audlem car park, when we will make our way to the official Salt Line car park at Hassall Green about 15 miles away (the Post code for the car park is CW11 4XT).
NB All walkers must have suitable footwear and be prepared for adverse weather, carry food and water to last for the entire walk and be suitably fit for the various lengths of walk.
Each walk is led by a nominated leader who will carry some first-aid equipment. The leader has the right to refuse to include in a group anyone who is felt not be adequately equipped.
Non-members of ARS are welcome to come on a walk but are expected to join ARS and pay the membership fee after a trial walk or two.
