Kate McKennan is leading this months Short ARS walk and her description is below.

We will meet at Audlem car park to leave at 8.30am.

This is a very pleasant, easy 6 mile walk from Swettenham to Brererton and back taking in the wild life reserve on the way out. The walk is almost all on track.

We start the walk from the Swettenham Arms car park and finish there-Geoff and I will be eating there after the walk as a thank you to them. It is a very popular and good eatery – so that if others wish to eat there they would be advised to book their table.

NB All walkers must have suitable footwear and be prepared for adverse weather, carry food and water to last for the entire walk and be suitably fit for the various lengths of walk

Each walk is led by a nominated leader who will carry some first-aid equipment. The leader has the right to refuse to include in a group anyone who is felt not be adequately equipped.

Non-members of Audlem Rambling Society (ARS) are welcome to come on a walk but are expected to join ARS and pay the membership fee after a trial walk or two.
