SHLAA – Cheshire East response

Maragaret Roberts received this response to her enquiry about the SHLAA plans that refer to Mill Lane. The comments will hopefully provide some reassurance to those who believe that development at those sites in the near future is a foregone conclusion.

"Dear Margaret Roberts,

"Thank you for contacting us regarding the Cheshire East SHLAA. Your comments will be taken on board in the next up date to the SHLAA (base date 31st March 2013).

"Just for information, with regards to sites 3445 and 3446, the SHLAA does not deem that these sites are suitable for development now. Only those sites that are considered "deliverable" are truly considered to be appropriate for development at the moment. All other sites, regardless of their category are not sites which the Council would support to be developed, as they require a change to policy or for a constraint to be overcome.
