With Crewe Alexandra returning to Wembley Stadium for the second time in twelve months, Audlem's ever expanding TC Tours has filled a 53-seater coach for the match on Sunday 7th April.
Last May, with Crewe playing in the Division 2 Play-off final against Cheltenham, Tony Crowther put together his first TC tour with a local party of supporters who enjoyed a well-organised – and victualled – trip and saw Crewe triumph 2-0 and gain promotion to Division 1 on possibly the hottest and sunniest day of 2012.
Indeed, it was so hot, the referee stopped the game for several 'drinks breaks' to ensure the players did not suffer from excessive dehydration, a sight few supporters have ever seen on a English football pitch.
Since then Tony has organised a trip for fans, with lunch at the stadium, for a League 1 match away to Shrewsbury Town.
This year Alex have battled through to the Johnstone Trophy final where there will come up against Southend who lost to Crewe last year in a pulsating two-leg semifinal in the Playoffs.
Our photo is from last May's successful Crewe v Cheltenham match. Next month, the 53 fans on board TC Tours' coach will be looking for similar Wembley success.
