Audlem Mill has just handed £187 in to the Charity Shop – the proceeds from the sale of secondhand books from the gazebo outside the Mill in May.
We have been selling secondhand books for quite a few years, and in that time have donated around £6,500 to the Charity Shop – quite a tidy sum from just a gazebo!
We don't take anything from the money from the books, but hand over all of it on a monthly basis.
We'd like to thank everyone who has bought or donated books.
We are happy to take paperbacks – novels, thrillers etc.
