Searchlight engineer info wanted

I have been asked how one can find out about a searchlight engineer stationed near here in WW2.

We, the History Society, have established that there were 'searchlight battalions' but don't know which would have been round here (especially interested in Lancs ones).

I have also found a anti-aircraft battery at Walgherton but were there others near here? Any help welcomed.
