Audlem St James CE Primary School

What a half term with lots going on over the past 6 weeks for the whole school. The Year 6 showed great resilience,resourcefulness and a readiness to learn throughout SAT's week and just shone brightly.

The Year 2 children havebeen working hard over the past few weeks on assessments and showed their reflectiveness in their learning to theteachers.

The whole school has been getting ready for the Queen's Jubilee and all children have looked at the Queens lifethrough the decades and displayed their work around the village, Cheese Shop in Nantwich and in school. We can't waitto welcome every one later to tonight as we come together as a school community to celebrate the great occasion.

I am a big music fan and one part of a song sums up how the children make sure we smile is from a famous band called'Coldplay. The song in question is a Sky Full of Stars and all of our children even in the darkest of hours will alwaysmake sure that there is a light.

I hope you all have a wonderful half term and the weather is good for us all.

Just a reminder that we have an INSETon Monday 6th June and school will re-open on Tuesday 7th June.
