Stranger Danger – warning to parents/carers following incident at the weekend

On Saturday, a child was approached in Audlem by a stranger and was invited to come with him. Fortunately the child did not do so and told their parents. Please be vigilant and emphasise to your children that they should not go with anyone, whatever the reason, without checking with you.

Parent Survey

I would like to thank everyone for their input into the Parent Survey before Easter. This has now been analysed and some key areas have been identified for us to improve on as a school.
These are:

• To improve communication with parents on what we are doing in school, and we will look at this over the next term.
• To ensure that children have more access to sporting competitions across Key Stages throughout the year and a variety of sporting activities.
• To look at how we can improve on letting you know your child's progress throughout the year.
• To carry on looking at Before and After School provision within Audlem St James.
• To look at homework within school from KS1 and KS2.

Our intention is to send out a termly diary for parents during the first week of every new term. This term's was sent out yesterday.
