The last week has shown me what it means to be part of local community and a Church of England school. The values that the school hold so dearly have shone as the Audlem community have come together and helped the families at school by donating laptops and tablets. This will make a huge difference to those families and children as they will now be able to access remote learning and interact with their peers through live sessions. This will ensure that we can look after every child from their Well-Being to their educational needs.

Ruby Class

In English, we have been writing multi-clause sentences about daredevil, Annie Edson Taylor, who went over theNiagara Falls in a barrel! We used philoso-trees and what we have learned about Annie to develop arguments for andagainst Annie riding the falls. We then dived for pearls by writing letters from the perspective of one of Annie'sfriends, either trying to convince her not to do it, or to support her in her decision.

Diamond Class

In Year 6 this week, we have been learning more about endangered species and have been doing somewriting from a tiger's point of view. We have also started learning how to build a website and have done research onthe San Diego Zoo website to see how to 'inspect' the HTML code.
