The Audlem Lass will be carrying Father Xmas into the village this Friday ready for the light switch on.
Please find attached the flier we have been handing out letting people know that we will be at the wharf from 4.30pm to allow people to "sponsor a candle" and be ready for Father Christmas to arrive on the Lass at 5.00pm. The candles will be floated on the canal – a magical scene for his arrival.
People that they should arrive at the wharf at 5.00pm, but this might be a bit late as he will be leaving the wharf at 5.10pm at the latest – we don't want people to miss it.
