Given the popularity of the Sandstone Trail amongst local walkers – indeed, the Trail was visited by 21 Short-ARS hikers last Saturday – we thought some may be interested in this post.

The Sandstone Ridge Trust was formed in 2012 to safeguard the legacy of the Heritage Lottery funded project, the Habitats and Hillforts Landscape Partnership Scheme.

The Trust now requires strong leadership to take it forward in a forever changing climate with lots of potential to collaborate with partners to make a real difference across the Sandstone Ridge.

  • Do you care about Cheshire's heritage?
  • Are you interested in a new challenge?
  • Would you be keen to get involved in one of Cheshire's most beautiful parts of the countryside?
  • Will you drive forward positive activity in a forever changing environment?

This could be a role that may interest you. The Sandstone Ridge Trust are seeking expressions of interest for this voluntary role to help take them forward at an important time for Cheshire's natural and historic environment.

Candidates will need management skills, experience of planning and monitoring projects and a commitment to the protection of the environment and heritage.

If you are interested in this role please send your CV and a supporting letter addressing the skills and experience outlined in the Persons Specification together with any other information relating to your ability to carry out the responsibilities required in the role description.
