Audlem Saints recorded another victory on Sunday, though not in the usual style. Most of Audlem's play was a little clumsy and the usual good passing went awry. A superb performance from the goalkeeper though ensured that the Betley forward line was frustrated. Audlem had actually started the game pretty well and scored two good goals in the first period. Perhaps a little complacency then set in and Betley enjoyed the best of the play and pulled back a well taken goal. Occasional flashes of what Audlem are capable of surfaced and two more chances were tucked away late in the game. Audlem were rather flattered by the 4-1 scoreline and they will need to be a lot better in next week's tough game Vs Boro Boys.
