Running for Cancer Research

And people said that Mr Alan Brindley and Miss Tracy Barnett couldn't run, let alone do a half marathon – sounds like a challenge to us!

So, on Sunday March 25th, we will be taking part in the Wilmslow Half Marathon and what better charity to support than Cancer Research UK.

We've got a target of £1,000 to raise and we're currently at just over £800 so we need the help of our village to get there and beyond if possible.

Our training officially started on 1st January (well, the 2nd as Alan was still hungover from the night before! ha ha) and we have braved wind and rain and snow and ice to make sure we're race fit.

Alan has even given up the Carling for the last three weeks before race day – that alone deserves being sponsored for, I'd say!

Anyway...this is an amazingly worthwhile charity, so dig deep and help this great cause and if you're about we'd love you to come and cheer us on on 25th March.
