NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

VARIOUS ROADS WITHIN AUDLEM

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic.

Prohibition of traffic-

Stafford Street, Audlem

From the junction of School Lane to the junction of Salford

Churchfields, Audlem

For its full extent

The alternative route will be via Woore Road, Audlem Road, Nantwich Road, London Road, Back Lane, Peter Destapleigh Way, Broad Lane, Cheshire Street, Stafford Street and visa versa which is considered the most suitable route.

This order will come into operation on Monday 20th February 2023 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Friday 3rd March 2023.
