Road closure next month

Our thanks to Paddy Kenshole for sending us a copy of a notice saying that Longhill Lane to the east of Audlem will be closed next month for possibly five days to carry out patching works to the carriageway.

The closure is from the junction with Windmill Lane to the junction with the Woore road.

It is anticipated that the works will take place from Thursday 17th September to Tuesday 22nd September from 8.00am to 5.00pm each day but excluding the weekend.

Pedestrian access to any premises affected by the closure will be maintained at all times and vehicular access for emergency vehicles and residents will also be maintained when possible.
