RNLI Festival and Boat Share Show at Overwater

On the 3rd and 4th September we will be hosting our RNLI Festival coupled with the Boat Share 4U Boat Share Show.

Free programmes will be available from the Marina office from the beginning of August. Come along on the Saturday to view a range of shared ownership boats all with shares to sell.

On the Saturday night we are delighted to announce that Daystar Theatre will be back with a specially written comedy play together with live music, the RNLI Bar and a BBQ – all with free entry.

On the Sunday there will be the fun and spills of a Donkey Derby. If you have any budding jockeys (lead rein or non-lead rein, aged 8 to 15 years and less than 8 stone in weight) please email Daleta Harthern via daletaharthern@btinternet.com or contact the Marina Office.

We will also be hosting a dog show with celebrity TV vet Steve Leonard and his partner, as well as a dog agility display team.

Finally, village butchers Oxtail and Trotter will be here with their BBQ all day and the RNLI ladies will be happy to provide you with afternoon tea.

Race cards will shortly be available from the Lord Combermere, Williams the Newsagents or Overwater Marina @£1 or £2 on the day.
