Local resident Peter Oxley received this email on Tuesday about a pothole repair he had reported:

All well and good, you may think. But look at the date the pothole was reported – May 17th last year. So, if you do not receive an acknowledgement about a pothole you have reported, chase up Cheshire East. And with this fault in Whitchurch Road, let's hope it doesn't turn out to be an emergency.
