This item was sent to us by Nigel of a car which it is claimed has a unique heritage:

Interestingly the little blue Bugatti which is used regularly on the road and has a straight 8 cylinder engine used to belong to Sir Malcolm Campbell of Bluebird fame.

It is painted a slightly different blue to the Bugatti blue as this was the colour that Sir Malcolm painted all his vessels and vehicles including his Bugatti, Bluebird, the land speed record car, his boat also called Bluebird and his Series One Land Rover.

This was probably the most valuable vehicle on the field on Sunday and was also driven by Rex Harrison in The Rakes's Progress.

Thanks to everyone that exhibited.
Nigel
