Ramblers "Summer" BBQ
Some 30 ramblers met for a celebration BBQ last Sunday.
The rain eventually arrived but in no way spoilt the proceedings!
The loaned ASET Marquee was a magnificent refuge – whilst the gazebo canopy was not.
There were 2 arranged walks over the weekend – with limited numbers probably due to interest in the village fete. The one to Cnicht in Snowdonia (Eryri if you prefer) – there is a separate article on this – well worth a read!
The second walk consisted of 2 persons only, and is best described as a stroll around Bickerton and straight to the pub (Shroppie Fly – by midday).
