Pyms Lane Recycling unit

Following rumours that the Pyms Lane facility may be about to close the following statement has been issued:

Household waste recycling site, Pyms Lane

Cheshire East Council has moved to reassure residents that Crewe Household Waste and Recycling Centre, on Pyms Lane opposite the Bentley showroom, will remain open.

Councillor David Topping, Cheshire East's Cabinet member for service commissioning, said:

"This site is unaffected by the sale of the nearby Ansa depot to Bentley Motors. "The household waste recycling site on Pyms Lane is not closing."
