In their continuous efforts to enhance the well-being of our community, Audlem Parish Council has announced that Cheshire East are supplying Audlem with a revolutionary initiative – the installation of 'Community Nap Pods' across the village

Starting in April, they have committed to providing spaces for residents to recharge and rejuvenate, promoting a more relaxed and stress-free lifestyle. The Nap Pods will be constructed out of our old 'Save our Shops' signs, helping Cheshire East promote their greener, recycling policies combined with money they have accrued by charging us for our green bins!

The concept is simple, strategically placed Nap Pods will be available in key locations, such as the Village Square, the Village Park, and outside Audlem Medical Centre. Should the queues in the Coop be long, it is still under debate whether one should be positioned close to the checkout as there is some concern about customers frozen food purchases, which may thaw.

Residents are encouraged to take short power naps whenever they feel the need, fostering a culture of rest and relaxation. Cheshire East believe that well-rested villagers are happy villagers!

To kick off this initiative, all residents are invited to meet on April 1st at 12:00 PM in the Village Square for the official 'Nap Time Kick-Off.' APC will provide cosy blankets and soothing music to ensure a peaceful and enjoyable experience.
