Pothhole – Still there

Ed: Drivers Beware, particularly in the dark – we have received this message from Chris Walley on the infamous pothole near Hatherton:

We have brought this story to the front again to try to make sure that people are warned about it.

Please find attached a couple of photographs taken today 28/12/15 of the pothole on the A529 that has opened up again. This has been mentioned on AOL before – it's on the bend between Oaks Corner and Hankelow on the left had side of the road travelling towards Audlem.

It is at least 4- 5 inches deep and would easily take out a wheel let alone a tyre and I can speak from experience having suffered £1,100 worth of damage to wheels and tyres on my Mercedes albeit from another pothole.

My claim for compensation from Cheshire East is still dragging on some 2 years after the incident.
