Cheshire Police officers are to target anti-social behaviour in rural villages like Audlem throughout July.
Police in villages throughout the Nantwich Rural cluster area have set tackling bad behaviour as one of their top priorities for the month.
Villages covered by the crackdown include Audlem, Bunbury, Willaston, Wybunbury, Wrenbury and the urban area of Stapeley Parish.
Officers have been told to target all anti-social activity and particularly during weekend evenings and school holidays between the hours of 6pm and 10pm.
Anti-social behaviour is any intimidating or threatening activity that scares people or can affect their quality of life. Examples include rowdy or noisy behaviour, vandalism, graffiti, fly-tipping, street drinking or setting off fireworks.
Recent statistics released by Cheshire Police show five incidents of anti-social behaviour in Audlem were investigated in May this year, four incidents were reported near the village centre and on or near Emberton Place.
Other police priorities in July are traffic speed enforcement and tackling theft of agricultural equipment.
Drivers can expect to see more 'Smiley Speed' awareness devices across the entire cluster area at all times of day and night.
