Police investigating assaults on two men in a Market Drayton pub, have issued an appeal for witnesses to come forward.
The two men, aged 24 and 38, were treated at the Princess Royal Hospital in Telford after both were punched in the face by another man.
The incident happened at The Crown in Stafford Street at around 11.10pm on Friday, 11 October.
Police Constable Chris Sargeant, the investigating officer, said the two victims were assaulted in the public bar near to the pool room. They were treated for cuts and bruising.
He said: "I am anxious to speak to anyone who was in the pub at the time who saw any part of this incident. I would ask them to please contact Market Drayton police station by calling 101.
"Several customers were in the pub and I am appealing for them to get in touch as they may be able to assist with inquiries as to exactly what happened."
A 25-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of malicious wounding and assault, causing actual bodily harm. He has been given police bail while inquiries continue.
