Planning application for Tollgate/Moorsfield

I have just been chasing up the Tollgate/Moorsfield planning application with Cheshire East because, although the item has been removed from the agenda for tomorrow's planning meeting, the decision date on the actual application is still shown as Dec 14th.

Cheshire East planning have just phoned to say that the applicant is considering a revised plan with fewer houses but so far has not submitted an application. The planning department do not want to do all the paperwork for the meeting only for it to be redundant. They have chased up the applicant but have not heard anything so far.

Of course if a new plan is submitted none of the original objections will be considered and the whole planning exercise starts from the beginning with a brand new consultation process.

So the message seems to be watch this space.
