Councillor Mike Hill has followed up the actions from the recent Community Action Meeting by writing to the North West Ambulance Service. While thanking the representatives for coming to Audlem, he asks the service:

"To provide a printout of where Audlem lay in respect of your service's performance, to include both Rural and Urban areas."

"To follow up the Community First Responders training."

And by saying "We would also like to know why it has taken so long for the training of First Responders to get underway? We would remind you that we have had four volunteers from the local Fire Brigade to undertake the training, and the Parish Council confirmed that they would support the volunteers."

All these issues were discussed at the meeting.

This week's Nantwich Guardian leads its front page with the report of the Community Action Meeting. This means all three South Cheshire newspapers, the Chronicle, Evening Sentinel and Guardian have publicised the issue with front page lead stories.
