Audlem Parish Council meets this evening at 7.30pm in the Methodist Church Hall. As always, members of the public can raise issues in the Public Forum at the start of the meeting.

There is some unfinished grants and donations business from last Mondays' Finance Committee meeting of the council, as reported on AudlemOnline, which councillors said could be deferred until this evening's meeting.

One paper seeking support for 'seed corn' funding for preliminary work on a possible public hall extension was not tabled last week to the disappointment of the councillor who had circulated it.

A new draft budget will also be tabled by the council's finance officer.

An item of new interest is a discussion on the use of the Buttermarket by local groups for the sale of merchandise. We understand there has been some unease by local traders about this issue.
