Oxjam Quiz and Jam success

Oxjam Audlem 2011 week has started off with a bang and two fantastic events already.

Tuesday night saw the ever popular quiz at The Lord Combermere, with Ralph Warburton asking the questions at the Oxjam quiz.

A record eighteen teams competed in a great quiz with £240 raised from that one event alone. A great effort by all involved and a big thank you to Ralph and the The Lord C team.

Last night saw approximately 20 artists descend on The Lord C for the Oxjam Jam, which saw all artists together in one super group.

For many this was their debut visit to Audlem and they entertained the packed pub from start to finish – a great night of free music with all artists involved donating their time to the Oxjam gig, which again I thank them greatly for.

Sunday is the main day with 14 acts, 2 stages, heated marquee and some face painting and kiddies tattoos and don't forget the Oxjam Audlem compilation CD will be available on the day for a measly £3....starts at 11.30am and it's a small donation to enter.
