Oxjam Music Festival
The Audlem Oxjam week culminates in the Oxjam Audlem Music Festival tomorrow, Sunday 16th October 2011. Eight months in the planning, this one day event is set to be one of the best free festivals in the country for Oxjam.
There will be a heated enclosed marquee, two stages and thirteen bands starting at 11.30am outside The Lord Combermere. The outside stage will close at 8.00pm and then the music moves inside. There will also be face painting and children’s glitter tattoos – of course not limited to the children.
The unique way this event has been funded once again means it’s a free entry event – a list of sponsors that have made this happen is below. All acts are giving their time for free, which I can’t thank them enough for.
However, there will be collection buckets and if you feel the need, then please place some cash in the buckets. I promise you will not be pressured to give give give – all we ask is that you enjoy enjoy enjoy!
