The Old Grammar School

For some time now, building work has been going on at the Old Grammar School in School Lane.

This is a grade II* listed building, founded in  1655, is one of the finest in Audlem, second only to the Church in historic importance.

The Parish Council is trying to find out what is planned for the building, but enquiries to Historic England have not produced any answers.

So the Parish Council has now asked Cheshire East to get involved, They have opened an "enforcement case" and an agent is due to visit the site.
