Cheshire East Council has now opened a formal planning enforcement case regarding the recent removal of trees and hedgerow at The Old Grammar School, Audlem, Crewe, Cheshire, CW3 0BA.

The case reference is 26/0442/ENF and it has been allocated to their Arboricultural Officer.

This case has been designated as Priority 1 under the Council’s Planning Enforcement Protocol which means that the Council aims to carry out an initial site visit within 1 working day of receiving the enquiry.

Please note that this is only part of the investigation. The Arboricultural Officer has confirmed he will contact the Parish Council once the site visit has been completed to advise of his findings.
