The village of Norton in Hales has lifted a gold award in the Heart of England in Bloom Awards.
The village near Audlem was presented with a gold award and declared category winner in the village section at a presentation of awards in Tamworth.
Norton in Hales will now be entered into the annual Royal Horticultural Society Britain in Bloom competition.
It could go forward to be crowned one of the best blooming villages in the country, and repeat its success in winning the title in 2010.
