Next Long ARS Walk 13th June

The next LongARS walk is Saturday June 13th led by Tony Crowther.

Wenlock Edge and Church Preen

Departing Audlem Car Park at 8.30am we drive to Presthope where there is a free car park on the B4371 – Much Wenlock to Church Stretton Road - TF13 6DQ

This approximately 9 mile circular route takes in Hughley, Netherwood Coppice, Broome, Church Preen and then back up along part of the Jack Mytton Way on Wenlock Edge back to the start point.

The walk consists of footpaths, lanes, tracks and farmed fields with good views (better than last November I Hope)!!!

Rating 3 booter with several stiles and some uphill walking back from Wenlock Edge.

NB All walkers must have suitable footwear and be prepared for adverse weather, carry food and water to last for the entire walk and be suitably fit for the various lengths of walk.

Each walk is led by a nominated leader who will carry some first-aid equipment. The leader has the right to refuse to include in a group anyone who is felt not be adequately equipped.

Non-members of Audlem Rambling Society (ARS) are welcome to come on a walk but are expected to join ARS and pay the membership fee after a trial walk or two.
