The next meeting of the History Society will be held on Thursday, 16th February, at the Scout and Guide Hall starting at 7.30pm.
The Speaker this time will be Helen Cooke, a Trustee and member of Nantwich Museum’s Research Group, who will be talking on the subject of “The River Weaver and its Water: the Good, the Bad and the Ugly”.
Helen will examine how the river, its water and its role in the community have evolved over time, and will also include the results of water-testing experiments undertaken by Nantwich schools.
This should be another interesting evening in our 2023 programme, and we do hope you will be able to join us.
Visitors are always welcome. Please pay on the door (£3 only).
Hope to see you there.
