The next Wednesday Ramble is on the 15th October and will be led by Peter Jackson, meeting time is 2.00 p.m. in the Town Hall Car Park.
The walk will be the Alpaca – Walk we will leave the Car Park and head for Turn Pike Field, then onwards towards Swanbach and Cox Bank, where we will also be able to see the Alpacas on our way through.
We will then return along the Tow Path to the Shroppie Fly.This walk will give those who missed seeing the Alpacas last time a chance to look at these lovely animals.There is some field walking and 2 stiles, also the route could be muddy in parts if we have rain.
Walk is 5 miles in total.Hope to see you on the 15th – Peter Jackson
NB. All walkers must have suitable footwear and be prepared for adverse weather, carry food and water to last for the entire walk and be suitably fit for the various lengths of walk. Each walk is led by a nominated leader who will carry some first-aid equipment. The leader has the right to refuse to include in a group anyone who is felt not be adequately equipped. Non-members of Audlem Rambling Society (ARS) are welcome to come on a walk but are expected to join ARS and pay the membership fee after a trial walk or two.
