Christmas Is All Around Us!

The talents and enthusiasm of our younger children have thrilled me this week in their super production of Born in a Barn. Their retelling of the Nativity story from the animal's perspective was filled with lots of delights and reasons to smile.

All of the children shone with their wonderful singing, acting and dancing and I know they have thoroughly entertained each audience they have performed to! Well done to them all!

Many thanks to all of the staff and parents involved in this performance. A special mention must go to Eesha Thornton Jones' parents who made our wonderful backdrop and manger.

Christmas Fair

Our Christmas Fair last Friday was a great success. Thanks must go to our wonderful FASA team who worked tirelessly to make it such a special occasion and to all the families who supported the event. It was a wonderful team effort, which raised a fantastic £1533.54 for school.

We were delighted Santa could squeeze our school into his hectic schedule to attend
our Fair. I believe Mr Warburton helped him get to our school and ensure he got
back to his reindeers and toy preparations so thanks to him too!

Ruby class were busy selling their wares as part of their Dragon's Den project in school and the class raised £93.25 for 'Smile Train' (a charity that works with children with cleft palates) which they had decided to support as part of the project. A great achievement!

We have counted up the final tallies for our Team Points this term and I am pleased to announce that Lime team have managed to win overall for Autumn Term. The will have their reward on Tuesday afternoon next week. Please look out for a note in school bags if your child is in this team.
