just an up date on chippy opening times and George.

If you read the other day that George had been taken into hospital and I was hoping to have him home Sunday/Monday.

Unfortunately this is now not the case, after many tests it seems that George has a bug in his blood which is very vicious, he has to have a 4 weeks course of IV antibiotics and for this he would have to stay in hospital.

A while ago George did fundraising event for British heart foundation as he had to have his aortic valve replaced with a mechanical one....the doctors were hoping that the bacteria from this horrible bug(which they still don't no where it's come from or what type of bug it is) would not reach the valve as they had started to treat it early, but after an echo cardiogram done yesterday this has shown bacteria on the valve...

This will mean that George Will have to have a new valve replacement. George is quite upset and worried as we all are, who wouldn't be --.. it's open heart surgery.....again!!!! Even his consultant has said "you are one very very very unlucky man".This should be within the next month as he needs a good dosage of these very strong antibiotics.

Along with my brilliant team of girls the chippy we will remain open as usual apart from Mondays...it's so very quiet on a Monday so I have decided for the next few weeks I would like to spend this time with George and my children.... I hope you all understand and I continue to thank all our customers for the loyal custom and their understanding.

There might be a couple of days where I might need to shut but notice will b given in advance and signs will be put up in the shop. I will try my hardest to keep this chippy running as smoothly and as well as George has done for these past 18 months.
Many thanks
Ali
