Trikeman posted this message on the Chatbox yesterday: "Can this be the new record? I have just received today (12th February) a Christmas card posted in Crewe, stamp dated the 10/12/10."
We reckon that may have just overtaken the package posted in Cardiff on 30th November that arrived in Audlem on 2nd February. It's certainly the 'Christmas card' front-runner – unless anyone knows differently.
Meanwhile, still no detailed response from Moya Greene, the chief executive of the Royal Mail, to Audlem Online's letter of 12th January. Two holding letters so far but nothing useful.
Hopefully, when it does arrive, the letter will include a full explanation of how a big marquee was erected in Warrington and much of our post was simply dumped there. Somehow, we suspect her letter may not cover this particular issue!
