New Planning Application for Land off Tollgate Drive

Following the withdrawal of the previous application for contentious new dwellings on land behind Moorsfield Avenue, a revised outline planning application has now been submitted 17/0774N.

This new application is for 34 new dwellings of 2,3,4and 5 bedrooms of which 30% will be designated affordable homes of a mixture of 2 and 3 bedroom homes. Access to the site is proposed from Tollgate Drive

The houses are planned to be mostly 2 storey with 1.5 storey and be a mix of detached, semi detached and mews properties.

Some landscape buffering is proposed along the western and northern boundaries.

Although not formally on the agenda, we would be surprised if this was not discussed at tonight's Parish Council meeting, which readers are reminded starts at an earlier start time of 7pm when Mr David Malcolm, Head of Planning (Regulation) for the Cheshire East will be at the meeting.
