New Homepage Banners

Alert AudlemOnline readers will have noticed that the homepage of the website has undergone a partial redesign. The six large buttons for News, Business, Services, Events, Groups and Village have been removed, and replaced by three smaller buttons and three banners.

The News and Events main pages are now accessed (as they were before) from the "Today's news" and "Upcoming Events" headers respectively.

The three smaller buttons are used to access the directories and latest news pages for "Business", "Groups" and "Services".

Two of the three banners are used to access the news stories for current topics, while the third is dedicated to "Tourism" which includes the village items, heritage and wildlife.

The purpose of these changes is to respond to some criticisms that we have received as well as to give easier access to all stories of particular important current topics. The topics chosen for the moment are the Gladman/Little Heath development story and its various ramifications, and the forthcoming Audlem Music and Arts Festival.
