A new decoration makes its bow in Audlem

Take a bow, Muller Homes, for the first Christmas decoration of the year in Audlem on the Moseley's Yard development. A big red plastic bow, and gift tag, is the village's latest architectural attraction, stuck high on the new apartments being built on Shropshire Street.

The buildings themselves, as they near completion, are attracting mixed comments – some favourable, others yet to be convinced. One correspondent likes the new plastic bow so much, she's to campaign to keep it once the buildings are unwrapped. Another asks that different coloured bows be attached to all the village centre's buildings – especially those, like Moseley's Yard, that are in the Conservation Area – while yet another wants the bow illuminated, particularly with the nights now drawing in.
