New book scheme raising money for Cancer Relief

The new book scheme at the Canal Shop is working well, Peter and Christine Silvester report, with weekly charity book takings, which are passed to Audlem Cancer Relief, averaging around £50. There is an excellent selection of books now at the Canal Shop. It's well worth a browse and helps a very well-worth cause.

You can also take books to the Shop. Though the Mill concentrates on canals/transport and needlework, in fact any fiction, or non-fiction books on any subject, are welcome. So, if you have any books or OS maps of any kind, please take them in to Audlem Mill (who reserve the right to say 'no' if they get inundated!).
